Job summary

Symetra is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to support Retirement (annuities) product filings and operational compliance across the division. You will identify and resolve compliance issues, and develop recommendations to promote disciplined growth.

You will deliver research, present findings to senior analysts and leadership, collaborate cross-functionally, and help create training materials. The role requires strong project management and the ability to handle multiple filings and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher and related experience.
• 8+ years in compliance or regulatory roles.
• Experience with product development and life/annuity filings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare accurate state filing materials for submission to Departments of Insurance.
• Research and apply laws, regulations, bulletins and filing requirements for Symetra products.
• Draft policy and application forms compliant with state laws for filing.
• Prepare product filings, statements of variability, forms listings, and other filing documentation.
• Research state inquiries/objections and coordinate nationwide filing strategy.
