Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Complex Litigation Paralegal for our West Palm Beach, FL office. The role supports attorneys on sophisticated litigation and dispute-resolution matters from inception through trial, requiring ownership of deadlines and case management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, strong knowledge of pleadings, discovery and eDiscovery workflows, and a Florida Notary Public. A Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience supporting complex litigation matters from inception through trial.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, pleadings, discovery and court filings.
• Experience with eDiscovery and ESI workflows.
• Florida Notary Public.
• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from case inception through trial, settlement or other resolution.
• Prepare, organize and maintain pleadings, motions, discovery, exhibits and other litigation documents.
• Coordinate discovery and assist with document collection, review and production.
• Support attorneys with depositions, hearings, mediations and trial preparation.
• Assist with eDiscovery and electronically stored information (ESI) workflows.
• Maintain accurate physical and electronic case files.
• Monitor litigation deadlines, court dates and case calendars.
• Prepare deposition materials, witness files, exhibits, chronologies and trial materials.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, witnesses, vendors, courts and other professionals.
• Assist with electronic court filings and other litigation-related filings.
• Track case activity and billable time.Provide high-level substantive and administrative support to attorneys.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive client and case information.
