Job summary
BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Senior Compensation Manager to lead compensation strategy and program design across the company. You will collaborate with the Head of Compensation to translate strategy into scalable programs and manage a team of 2–4 professionals while engaging with executives across HR, Finance and Legal.
The role emphasizes data-driven insights, market benchmarking, and cross-functional governance to deliver competitive, equitable compensation solutions in a hybrid setting in
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Eight or more years of progressively responsible compensation experience.
- At least two years of people leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of base-pay practices, market pricing and salary structures.
- Demonstrated ability to consult with and influence senior business leaders.
- Strong analytical capabilities and advanced Excel skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, evaluate and implement competitive, equitable and financially responsible compensation programs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of compensation professionals.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to executives, HR and business leaders.
- Manage base pay, salary structures, incentives, and related compensation programs.
- Lead annual compensation processes including merit and wage reviews and communications.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Legal and Benefits to deliver integrated compensation solutions.
