Job summary

Altria is seeking a Manager, Compensation to join our Richmond, VA team in a hybrid role. You will partner with HRBPs and leaders to design and deliver compensation programs, analyze data, and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

You will guide job evaluations, support offers, lead major compensation projects, and stay ahead of market trends while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. A CCP/SHRM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in compensation analysis, design and administration.
• Certification in CCP/SHRM is preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HRBPs to deliver compensation solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Perform data analysis on base pay, incentives, benchmarking and market data.
• Guide job evaluation to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on competitive offers for new hires.
• Lead complex compensation projects from design to implementation and training.
• Deliver programs including base increases, promotions, incentives and stock administration.
• Provide market intelligence on compensation trends and practices.
• Ensure compliance with wage, hour, equal pay and pay transparency regulations.
