Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Fremont, CA seeks a Lead Compensation Analyst to own the end-to-end compensation cycle, develop pay structures, and support equity planning for a global, fast-paced tech environment.

You will leverage Excel modeling, Workday, Power BI or Tableau to translate complex data into clear recommendations, build dashboards, and partner with HR and TA on offers and promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation analysis, preferably in a global, fast-paced environment.
• Expert Excel skills (modeling, VLOOKUP, Index/Match) and proficiency with Workday and analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Proven ability to translate complex data sets into clear and actionable recommendations.
• Strong understanding of market pricing, job evaluation, and pay structure design.
• Excellent consulting and communication skills with the ability to influence HR and business stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and strict confidentiality when handling sensitive data.
• CCP certification or progress toward it is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead market benchmarking and compensation analysis using external survey data to maintain competitive salary structures.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide expert compensation guidance on offers, promotions, and internal movement decisions.
• Support the end-to-end annual compensation cycle, including merit, bonus, and equity planning, owning data preparation, modeling, and complex analytics.
• Conduct regular pay equity, compression, and internal alignment analyses to support fair and consistent pay practices across the organization.
• Maintain and enhance job architecture, leveling, and titling frameworks to ensure clarity and scalability as the company grows.
• Develop compensation dashboards, analytics, and executive summaries that translate raw data into actionable business insights for leadership.
• Participate in the design, implementation, and communication of compensation policies, tools, and programs to drive employee engagement and retention.
• Stay current on global market trends, legal requirements, and best practices in compensation management.
