Job summary

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our Compensation team. You’ll provide analytical and consultative support across a broad range of compensation programs and decisions, partnering with HR and business leaders.

You’ll help ensure our compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and consistently administered, translating analysis into clear, actionable insights and supporting pay decisions, governance, and data integrity in a dynamic, hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in compensation analytics, market benchmarking, job pricing and data modeling preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and identify trends.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to communicate complex compensation concepts clearly to HR and business partners.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market pricing and benchmarking for a variety of roles using external surveys and internal data.
• Perform advanced compensation analyses and modeling to support pay decisions and program design.
• Conduct pay equity and internal equity analyses, identifying trends and recommended actions.
• Support complex compensation reviews including job evaluations, promotions, and evolving roles.
• Partner with HR and business stakeholders to provide compensation analysis and recommendations.
• Support governance processes, audits, and ongoing reviews to ensure consistency with programs.
• Maintain and validate compensation data, resolving data integrity issues.
• Prepare analytical summaries and recommendations converting data into insights.
• Support compensation projects across a diverse, seasonal consumer products business.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues as needed.
