Job summary

Region 10 League for Economic Assistance and Planning, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Companion Program Coordinator to lead the AmeriCorps Seniors Senior Companion Program across Southwest Colorado.

You will help expand opportunities for older adults to serve, connect, and support one another in Delta, Montrose, Ouray, and surrounding counties. As the Coordinator, you will recruit volunteers, build partnerships with referral agencies, coordinate client assessments and matches, ensure program

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit, aging services, human services, volunteer management, or community engagement.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication with volunteers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead volunteer recruitment, training, retention, and recognition efforts.
• Build relationships with community partners and referral agencies.
• Coordinate client assessments and volunteer-client matches.
• Manage reporting, compliance, and grant requirements.
• Represent the program at community meetings, events, and outreach activities.
• Track outcomes and communicate program impact to stakeholders.
