Job summary

CPCD is seeking an Outreach and Communications Specialist to support the organization’s outreach, family recruitment, and communications efforts across CPCD programs. The role involves collaborative work with the Communications and Engagement Coordinator and Enrollment Team to execute strategies, manage partnerships, and engage families across multiple platforms.

The position requires strong writing and verbal communication skills, plus experience in nonprofit outreach and content development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; 2–5 years in nonprofit or social services fields.
• Knowledge of community outreach, community organizing, and communication/awareness-building principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships with families and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support outreach and family recruitment plans with the Communications and Engagement Coordinator.
• Develop and publish content for CPCD’s channels and campaigns.
• Coordinate events, partnerships, and logistics for outreach activities.
• Respond to prospective families and provide timely referrals to Enrollment Team.
• Monitor outreach programs and maintain organized documentation.
