Job summary

The Community Builders is seeking an on-site Senior Community Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple properties. You will drive occupancy, control expenses, and ensure superb resident service while coordinating with finance, maintenance, and compliance teams.

You will mentor site staff, manage budgets, and lead efforts to meet financial and regulatory targets, including regular reporting and adherence to company SOPs. This full-time role requires on-site presence five days a week.

Qualifications

• College degree and/or 3+ years of experience in Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality or Retail.
• Industry designations (COS, LIHTC, ARM, CPM, etc.) preferred and can be achieved within 6 months of hiring.
• Minimum of 3 people in a supervisory/management role with hiring, performance management and training responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and achieve operating budgets; conduct monthly variance reviews with leadership to improve performance.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate site team members and provide ongoing feedback.
• Lead and direct site teams to ensure compliance with policies and SOPs; mentor staff.
• Ensure revenue transactions and rent collection are accurately entered and processed.
• Review and approve purchases within budget; monitor petty cash and accounts payable.
• Maintain occupancy targets and oversee marketing plans to sustain 97%+ occupancy.
• Monitor property maintenance, safety, inspections, and compliance with HQS/REAC standards.
• Prepare quarterly reports and support cash flow projections with site accounting.
