American Family Insurance is seeking a Lead Strategist, Community Engagement to drive the Community Engagement pillar of our Sustainable Business Framework. You will translate research and stakeholder insights into actionable programs, partnerships, and governance processes that align with enterprise objectives and customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategy, sustainability, community engagement, or related fields.
• Experience developing business strategy with executive management.
• Experience in insurance, ESG, community investment, or resilience planning.
• Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives with data-backed recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and activation of the Community Engagement pillar of the Sustainable Business Framework.
• Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps, priorities, and business cases for community initiatives.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with nonprofits, academic institutions, industry groups, and community stakeholders.
• Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and present strategic recommendations to executives.
• Lead Council activities, facilitate collaboration, and drive alignment across stakeholders.
• Evaluate opportunities at the intersection of community needs and enterprise objectives.
