Job summary

Prince George’s County Health Department seeks a Program Manager (Community Developer 4A) to lead community liaison, development and advocacy efforts within Behavioral Health. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and coordinate large outreach initiatives while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal codes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; fields listed in the minimum qualifications are acceptable.
• Three years of professional experience with at least one year in a lead role.
• Valid Class C driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex community development work in collaboration with higher officials.
• Manage multiple programs, including budgets and partnerships.
• Plan and coordinate major outreach activities from inception to completion.
• Assist in budget preparation and management for the program.
• Maintain and audit staff caseloads in EPIC health records system.
• Build strong relationships with partner agencies and report to leadership.
• Represent the department at meetings and ensure compliance with codes.
