Job summary

Sikich LLC is seeking a Communications Specialist II (US-Remote) to develop and manage enterprise communications for CMS/CCSQ programs. You’ll produce written, visual, and multimedia content, maintain knowledge repositories, and ensure accessibility standards across high-volume federal health IT communications.

The role requires 5+ years in communications within federal IT, strong content leadership, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and enterprise tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Public Affairs, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in communications, content strategy, or stakeholder engagement in a federal IT or health IT environment.
• Proven ability to lead content development, manage repositories, and guide junior team members.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and other visual communications tools.
• Experience with enterprise-level distribution list and listserv management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver enterprise communications across CMS/CCSQ programs and LOBs.
• Coordinate with teams to validate content prior to release.
• Produce training materials and onboarding content for new tools.
• Maintain Confluence, QualityNet website, and other knowledge repositories.
• Create branding assets and executive materials in line with CMS branding standards.
• Ensure accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG) for all communications.
