Job summary

Initiative is seeking an Associate Director, Communications Design in New York to orchestrate the communications plan from idea to measurable market impact. You will translate concept into a detailed communications architecture and oversee that the brand message aligns with strategy and culture.

You will lead next-generation plans with business units and creative partners, target high-value audiences, and guide KPI delivery and profitability while pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in an integrated planning role in media, publisher / vendor, or communications discipline (digital, content).
• Ability to delegate and oversee direct reports.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and vendor networks.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development of the detailed communications plan to power the idea.
• Present the Connections Design holistic approach to stakeholders with Director, Communications Design.
• Manage day-to-day outputs and workflow for the client as it relates to Communications Design.
• Present client education on marketplace trends in Communications Design.
• Oversee training of design team in communications planning fundamentals.
• Apply planning best practices to surface media and marketing intelligence for an impactful plan across OESP.
