Job summary

HireTalent - Staffing & Recruiting Firm seeks an experienced Communication Wireworker to install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, fiber optic, and low-voltage systems across substations, data centers, and field locations in Amarillo, TX. You will support WAN/LAN, SCADA, and security deployments while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will work from a high-visibility role requiring strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork across multiple project sites

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in electrical construction or related field.
• Experience with copper and fiber optic systems and testing.
• Ability to read schematics and telecom drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair communications systems.
• Install and certify copper and fiber cabling; perform fiber splicing and OTDR tests.
• Support MDFs/IDFs, data centers, and network rooms.
• Follow safety, quality, and industry standards; update drawings as needed.
• Travel to multiple project sites as required.
