Job summary
Phillips and Temro Industries (PTI) is seeking an experienced procurement leader to source, develop, and manage suppliers of commodities and tooling. You will guide procurement and logistics to optimize cost, service, and delivery while driving continuous improvement for customers, shareholders, and employees.
Lead supplier selection with QA and engineering, work on material procurement for new products, and strive to improve supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Degree or demonstrated experience in purchasing environment.
- 7+ years of progressive purchasing experience.
- 5+ years experience with an ERP system (SAP, Oracle).
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Procurement: analyze data to achieve targeted performance gains in cost, quality and service.
- Quality/Delivery: improve supplier performance and ensure quality systems.
- Strategic Planning: participate in developing supply chain strategy.
- Implementation and Change: drive continuous improvement and decisive action.
- Present yourself professionally in dealings with suppliers/customers.
