Job summary

Phillips and Temro Industries (PTI) is seeking a Production Supervisor in Minnesota to coordinate production work orders, manage staffing, and ensure safe, efficient operations on the factory floor. The role collaborates with manufacturing and support teams to drive reliable production and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of supervisory experience in factory settings, strong communication skills, and proven ability to lead lean initiatives while maintaining training

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and SAP.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production work orders with material and equipment availability.
• Provide technical advice and ensure accuracy of production operations.
• Communicate work plans and assign duties across teams.
• Act as liaison between production floor and other departments.
• Champion Lean initiatives and Continuous Improvement projects.
• Train and coach employees with Manufacturing Manager.
• Maintain training records and address employee issues.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and 5S housekeeping.
• Support hiring and interviewing of new employees.
