Job summary

Marvin, based in Fargo, North Dakota, is seeking a senior procurement leader to drive sourcing strategies and manage strategic supplier partnerships across capital, direct, and indirect spends. You will negotiate terms, optimize supplier performance, and ensure best total value through cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and risk management.

You’ll lead cross-functional teams, mentor colleagues, and influence purchasing decisions while maintaining a culture of safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, leadership, or related area.
• Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management including contract experience.
• Ability to analyze inventory usage and supplier performance to inform sourcing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic supplier partnerships, including performance, development, and ongoing relationship management.
• Lead contract management activities and support negotiation of key business terms with suppliers.
• Execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze supplier performance and provide recommendations to improve cost, quality, delivery, and overall value.
• Maintain and manage the approved supplier panel by incorporating stakeholder feedback and performance data.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with business needs and priorities.
