Job summary

Enbridge in Houston is seeking a Commodity Contracts Specialist to lead drafting, review, and negotiation of crude oil, natural gas, and related agreements. You will collaborate with Commercial, Legal, Risk, Credit and other teams to ensure contracts reflect commercial intent and comply with policy.

The role emphasizes contract administration, process improvements, and SOX controls, with opportunities to influence templates and systems.

Qualifications

Related university Degree in Business, Commerce, Regulatory, Legal, Paralegal studies or a related discipline.
7+ years of oil and gas contracting experience with commodity agreements and contract administration.
Minimum 4 years focused on commodity contracting; scheduling/Front Office experience welcome.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, negotiate and facilitate execution of natural gas, crude oil, and NGL agreements (NAESB, etc.).
Lead negotiation of standard and non-standard agreements supporting various activities.
Interpret terms and ensure compliance with corporate policies, risk and contracts standards.
Collaborate with Commercial, Legal, Credit, Tax, Insurance and Accounting on terms.
Support regulatory research, reporting and pipeline regulatory requirements.
