Senior Contracts Professional (VP, Oil Contracts)

We are seeking a Senior Contracts professional to assist with all structured transaction contracts for physical oil trades. This role will be integral in supporting the trading and commercial teams by ensuring the efficient and accurate drafting, negotiation, and execution of contracts. The successful candidate will work closely with traders, legal counsel, and operations teams to mitigate risk and enhance contract clarity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of structured transaction contracts for physical oil trading.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal, operations, and trading teams to ensure contracts align with commercial objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks.
  • Maintain and improve contract management processes, templates, and documentation standards.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in commodity trading contracts.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in commodity trading contracts, preferably within oil and energy markets.
  • Strong knowledge of physical oil trading and structured transactions.
