White Cap is seeking a skilled procurement professional to support the Commodity Leader with inventory ownership and strategic alignment. The role emphasizes optimizing service levels, turns, and supplier cooperation across inventories.

You will partner with account managers and inside sales to identify opportunities, negotiate pricing, and ensure strong supplier relationships. The position may be remote or hybrid, with potential regional travel as needed.

Formación

• BS/BA in a related discipline with 5–8 years of experience.
• MS/MA in a related field with 3–5 years of experience.
• Certification required in some areas.

Responsabilidades

• Executes inventory strategy alignment to maintain service levels and optimize turns and costs.
• Collaborates with Account Managers and Inside Sales to spot opportunities and negotiate pricing.
• Establishes and maintains local supplier relationships.
• Forecasts supplier inventory needs and sets Min/Max levels.
• Monitors competitive landscape to secure the strongest buys.
• Resolves aged or damaged inventory.
