Job summary

Mainspring Energy is seeking a highly motivated Senior Commissioning Operations Technician to lead planned and reactive service operations and transition into the technical operation of our systems. You will ensure mechanical integrity of units while configuring and starting up custom systems based on our linear generators.

Responsibilities include mechanical repair, collaboration with engineers, and performing inspections to document conditions for debugging.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with mechanical assembly and/or repair.
• Experience with precision measuring to .001” using micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear PPE.
• Valid Driver’s license; Class C CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically repair and perform maintenance on generators per procedures and checklists.
• Collaborate with engineers to fix and redesign components.
• Conduct inspections of recently installed units and document condition for debugging.
