Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage commissioning projects throughout their lifecycle, including project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, technical coordination, and client engagement.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and building control systems in commercial buildings, with the ability to interpret construction documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with commissioning standards and best practices, including ASHRAE, LEED, CALGreen, and Title 24.
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong project financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, earned revenue tracking, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and coordinate diverse teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities, combined with attention to technical detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative culture centered on feedback, learning, accountability, and measurable impact.
