Job summary

POWERX Edge is seeking a Commissioning Senior Project Manager to oversee day-to-day commissioning operations across multiple projects. This role requires coordinating personnel, collaborating with project owners, and integrating commissioning activities with overall project goals.

The ideal candidate has extensive commissioning experience, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and budgets on critical power infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related discipline preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience, with 4 years specialized in commissioning and 4 years as a Commissioning Manager on contracts of similar size, complexity, and team composition.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; proficient in commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day commissioning operations across multiple projects and teams.
• Manage financial and administrative aspects of projects per contract requirements.
• Lead development and review of commissioning plans and documentation.
• Interface with project owners and senior teams on technical issues.
• Direct commissioning team including contractors and internal staff.
