Job summary

Aecon is seeking a Project Site Commissioning Manager to plan, direct, and safely execute pre‑commissioning through commercial operation for complex power generation and nuclear projects. You will lead cross‑functional teams, ensure regulatory and safety compliance, and drive readiness milestones across multiple sites.

The role requires 10–15+ years in commissioning with a strong leadership track record, exposure to EPC and regulated facilities, and a deep commitment to nuclear safety culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline; PE license preferred.
• 10–15+ years in power generation or industrial commissioning with leadership experience.
• Experience on large EPC/nuclear or highly regulated facilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for all commissioning and startup matters.
• Develop and implement the Project Commissioning and Startup Plan.
• Lead testing, turnover, and operational readiness activities.
• Coordinate interfaces with operations, maintenance, QA, licensing, and regulators.
• Manage commissioning engineers, startup specialists, and operators.
• Promote a strong nuclear safety culture throughout activities.
• Prepare regular commissioning reports, schedules, and readiness evaluations.
