Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead on-site commissioning, testing, and acceptance for complex automation projects. You will partner with project management and site teams to deliver high-quality, customer-aligned results.

The role requires 5–8 years in commissioning, strong leadership, and experience with CX Alloy or BIM 360. Hybrid work with travel and significant client interaction are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent hands-on field experience in engineering/tech
• 5–8 years commissioning experience, with 3–4 years in technical field roles
• Hands-on leadership of field teams and managing technical resources
• Experience serving as primary client contact or site liaison
• Industrial automation or systems integration background
• FAT/SAT and commissioning methodology in data center or critical infra environments
• Cross-disciplinary coordination across MEP and controls

Responsibilities

• Own contracted technical scope delivery, ensuring systems are implemented and commissioned to specification.
• Advise the Project Manager on staffing, commissioning strategy, and schedule constraints.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure deliverables support testing.
• Lead field commissioning activities, directing technical resources from pre-functional checks through final acceptance.
• Oversee FAT/SAT and commissioning test plans; serve as the primary on-site coordination point.
• Drive punch list resolution and re-testing through to close-out.
• Review and approve commissioning documentation, test reports, and turnover packages.
• Maintain accurate as-built records; monitor and lead documentation efforts across CX Alloy, BIM 360, and similar platforms.
