Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead on-site and field testing for complex automation projects. You will own the technical scope, develop testing strategies, and coordinate engineering resources to ensure readiness and formal turnover to customers.

You will work with Project and Site Managers, oversee FAT/SAT, manage schedules, and maintain quality documentation across CX Alloy, BIM 360, and related platforms. Travel and strong client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
5–8 years of commissioning experience, including 3–4 years in field roles.
Experience leading field teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
Experience serving as primary client contact or site liaison.

Responsibilities

Own contracted technical scope delivery, ensuring systems are implemented and commissioned to specification.
Advise the Project Manager on staffing, commissioning strategy, and schedule constraints.
Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure deliverables support testing.
Lead field commissioning activities, directing technical resources from pre-functional checks through final acceptance.
Oversee and execute FAT/SAT and commissioning test plans; serve as the primary on-site coordination point.
Drive punch list resolution and re-testing through to close-out.
