Job summary

Electric Power Systems is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to coordinate testing and commissioning for electrical substations. The role requires 5+ years of experience in electrical equipment testing, particularly in high voltage applications. A BS in electrical engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical equipment testing and inspection.
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning and maintenance of power equipment.
• Experience in working in utility transmission substations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise testing and commissioning of electrical substations.
• Prepare and review isolation and restoration work plans.
• Direct troubleshooting efforts to resolve test deficiencies.
• On-site support to Design Engineering and Substation Construction.
