Job summary

Superior is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning planning, startup, and energization for complex electrical systems at sites across Conesville, Ohio. You will develop and approve MOPs, oversee LOTO planning, and support safe system energization while coordinating with owners, contractors, and testing partners.

The role reports to the Commissioning Engineering Manager and requires strong knowledge of power distribution, NFPA/Nec codes, and multi-system integration.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in quality control, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Strong understanding of medium/low voltage power distribution and associated equipment.
Experience with NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70E and related standards.

Responsibilities

Lead development and approval of complex MOPs and commissioning procedures.
Oversee LOTO planning and energized work strategies.
Lead pre-energization readiness reviews and support startup activities.
Review one-line diagrams, switching sequences, and system interdependencies.
