BR+A Consulting Engineers is seeking a Commissioning Engineer/Project Manager for our Charleston, SC area role. The successful candidate will bring at least five years of commissioning experience and proven project management skills across technical, financial, staffing, and client management aspects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years commissioning experience.
• Commissioning project management experience including technical, financial, planning, staffing, client management, execution, reporting and closeout.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to counsel clients and project teams through the commissioning process.
• Ability to secure and manage technical resources to execute commissioning projects per plans, specifications and schedule.
• Experience with Higher Education, Science & Technology, Transportation and Critical Environments projects.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for commissioning opportunities and new pursuits (business development).
• Estimate fees, issue proposals, close business and execute projects.
• Assist in filling positions required to accomplish the work.
• Develop and publish commissioning documents on software platforms and project documentation systems (Procore, Building Connected).
• Manage resources to successfully execute new and existing business.
• Complete work backlog while exceeding client expectations.
• Travel frequently – about 25% of the time, in- and out-of-state.
