Job summary

Nexus Data Centers in Hubbard, Texas is seeking a Commissioning Director to lead the commissioning of our onsite natural gas power plant, including gas turbines and reciprocating engines. You will build the team and own the program from start to handover.

This is a senior leadership role on a flagship project with opportunities to scale the campus and set new commissioning standards for repeatable handovers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commissioning or startup of gas turbine or gas engine power plants (LNG experience with turbines also works).
• Built and ran a commissioning team including contractors and third party specialists.
• Owned energization and turnover to operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the commissioning organization, including hiring and managing commissioning managers, engineers, and technicians.
• Develop commissioning plans, sequences, and procedures aligned with construction schedule.
• Direct field activity from walkdowns through startup and energization.
