Job summary

Sachse Construction in Detroit is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead schedule, safety, and quality on complex commercial projects across the region. You will embody our core values of integrity and excellence while driving on-site performance.

You will coordinate trades, enforce safety policies, manage documentation and punch lists, and mentor interns and junior staff while maintaining project progress and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a superintendent.
• Project experience with ground-up, K-12, Hospitality, Multifamily, urban and suburban work.

Responsibilities

• Must demonstrate and model Sachse Construction’s core values.
• Safety: enforce policies, conduct weekly toolbox talks, coordinate shut downs/tie-ins.
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control: monitor performance, enforce schedule, oversee punchlist.
• Planning: develop site logistics, set up schedules, mentor interns and staff, run coordination meetings.
• Document Control: file records, review RFIs, manage submittals and drawings, daily reports.
• Cost Management: assist with budget monitoring and changes.
