Job summary

Hughes General Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage commercial projects, coordinate crews, and ensure safety and quality from start to finish.

You will coordinate internal crews and subcontractors, oversee procurement, logistics, and site operations, and communicate effectively with clients and team members to keep projects on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience (K-12 educational facilities preferred).
• Experience with projects averaging $30M or more (preferred).
• Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Understanding of subcontractor scopes.
• Supervisory experience (20+ individuals).
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Knowledge of state and federal building codes.
• Effective communication skills (English; Spanish a plus).
• SWPPP certification.
• Ability to direct on-site teams.
• Willingness to relocate locally (as needed).
