Job summary

HL Contractors, Inc. seeks a highly motivated Construction Superintendent to oversee quality construction within budget and on time. The role coordinates all site activities, supervises field personnel, and enforces safety policies across projects in the commercial sector.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years’ experience as a commercial construction superintendent, OSHA 10, CPR & First Aid, and proficiency with construction software and MS Office. College degree preferred but not required.

• Strong organizational skills with clean, efficient job sites.
• Clear written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office.
• Able to analyze problems and make timely decisions based on goals and costs.
• Tactful, mature team player comfortable working with diverse personalities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on site.
• Direct field personnel to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.
• Maintain schedules, identify problems, and implement solutions.
• Order equipment/materials and schedule inspections as required.
• Track materials and equipment and prepare reports.
• Understand plans, specs, and safety requirements.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers.
• Oversee punch lists and project closeout documents.
• Promote site safety and enforce safety policies.
• Administer daily/weekly reports and safety meetings.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policy on site.
