Job summary

Jobot seeks a Construction Superintendent to run ground up commercial projects, including tilt ups and grocery stores, from start to finish.

You will manage daily operations, establish schedules, control costs, and coordinate subcontractors, while serving as the main contact for owners, architects, engineers, and suppliers. Our culture emphasizes safety, quality, and accountability with a company vehicle and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of superintendent experience on ground up commercial building projects.
• Experience with large projects including tilt ups and grocery stores.
• Manage schedules, project costs, and subcontractors on active job sites.
• Demonstrated leadership and delegation skills over crews and direct reports.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Understanding of all construction trades and subcontractor scopes.
• Experience with project documentation including RFIs, back charges, purchase orders, and meeting minutes.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of large and small ground up commercial building projects.
• Establish schedules and control costs within contract budget, plans, and specifications.
• Direct job site personnel, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and procurement.
• Serve as point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards on site.
• Document schedules, RFIs, work orders, meeting minutes, back charges, purchase orders, and safety reports.
• Track payroll and performance of direct reports.
