Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial projects in St. George, UT. You will drive all phases from site prep through turnover, coordinating owners, architects, subs, and suppliers to meet safety, quality, and schedule goals.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years supervising ground-up builds, including tilt-ups and grocery stores, with proven cost control, leadership, and blueprint interpretation skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of superintendent experience on ground up commercial building projects.
• Experience with large and small commercial projects, including tilt ups and grocery stores.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, project costs, and subcontractors on active job sites.
• Demonstrated leadership and delegation skills over crews and direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of building processes and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Understanding of all construction trades and subcontractor scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of large and small ground up commercial building projects.
• Establish schedules and control costs within contract budget, plans, and specifications.
• Direct job site personnel, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and procurement.
• Serve as point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards on site.
• Document schedules, RFIs, work orders, meeting minutes, back charges, purchase orders, and safety reports.
• Track payroll and performance of direct reports.
