Job summary

Solar Energy Solutions in Ashland, VA is seeking a Project Manager for our Commercial Solar Construction Department to oversee and manage the execution of solar projects for our clients. This in-office role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management, a background in solar or construction, and is comfortable traveling to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in project management, preferably in solar/construction.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of PM principles, practices, and tools.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of commercial solar projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Conduct post-mortems to capture lessons learned.
