Job summary

Reliable Electric and Lighting is seeking an experienced Commercial Service Electrician to support customers across the Baltimore, Maryland market. The role demands independence, strong troubleshooting, and professional client interaction in a commercial setting.

You will perform service, repair, and installations, read electrical drawings, and ensure safe, compliant work on 120/208V and 277/480V systems, including lighting controls. Join a national service team with strong support and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience preferred.
• Strong experience performing commercial service, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently in the field with limited supervision.
• Strong knowledge of 120/208V and 277/480V systems.
• Experience with commercial interior and exterior lighting systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial electrical service and repair work
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, lighting, controls, breakers, and related equipment
• Diagnose problems and determine appropriate repairs
• Perform electrical installations, replacements, and upgrades
• Service interior and exterior commercial lighting systems
• Work from ladders, lifts, and boom equipment as required
• Read and understand electrical drawings, diagrams, and specifications
• Identify materials and equipment needed to complete repairs and quoted work
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and management
• Complete required service documentation accurately and on time
• Maintain an organized and professional service vehicle
• Follow NEC requirements, company safety procedures, and customer-specific requirements
• Represent Reliable Electric and Lighting professionally at every customer location
