Security 101 is seeking a Service Technician in Dallas to service and program enterprise security systems, focusing on access control, IP video surveillance, and intrusion systems.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on experience, the ability to work independently, and a clean driving record. You’ll diagnose issues remotely when needed and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction. On-site position with a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience servicing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience troubleshooting networked access control and IP video systems, including customer networks.
• Alternative experience such as a multi-site Network Support Specialist or similar.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, program, and test enterprise security systems with minimal supervision.
• Set up and perform diagnostics on a LAN using networking tools.
• Integrate systems using manufacturer SDKs or APIs.
• Troubleshoot and program networked IP video systems and access control devices.
• Provide fanatical customer service and maintain system reliability.
