Job summary

Pieros Construction Co., a Tecta America company, seeks a Service Superintendent for our Somerville, NJ shop. Lead service technicians, coordinate field operations, ensure safety, and manage work orders from office to field. Strong roofing experience and leadership are required to deliver on-time, on-budget service with quality results.

The role focuses on safety, scheduling, and client satisfaction while maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance with OSHA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 8 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Superintendent, Foreman, or leadership role.
• Experience managing multiple crews and service projects simultaneously.
• Five or more years of Roofing Superintendent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support Service Technicians and field personnel.
• Manage daily service operations, including repairs, maintenance, emergency service calls, and warranty work.
• Oversee service tickets and active projects to ensure timely completion, labor efficiency, material control, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate workforce scheduling and dispatch activities to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all open service tickets are scheduled, tracked, and completed in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular field visits and jobsite inspections to monitor work progress and resolve issues proactively.
• Schedule service work directly with customers and maintain professional client relationships.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between field personnel, customers, and the Service Manager.
• Communicate job status, delays, material needs, and project updates clearly and effectively.
• Address customer concerns and ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
