Job summary

TalentSphere, a Chicago-area commercial roofing contractor, is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to lead a major Kenosha project and coordinate crews, schedules and budgets.

Initial assignment runs 12–18 months, with eventual work across the Greater Chicago market; frequent travel to Kenosha required. Strong field leadership, QA/QC knowledge and ability to manage safety and costs are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing project management experience
• Strong knowledge of BUR, EPDM, modified bitumen, TPO, PVC and metal roofing systems
• Waterproofing experience is highly desirable
• Experience managing mid- to large-scale commercial roofing projects
• Strong field leadership and crew coordination experience
• Solid understanding of scheduling, production, safety and QA/QC
• Ability to communicate effectively with field teams, clients and general contractors
• Ability to commute to Kenosha, WI for approximately 12–18 months

Responsibilities

• Manage the Kenosha project from mobilization through completion and closeout
• Coordinate Superintendents, field crews, subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain project schedules and production targets
• Monitor jobsite safety, quality and manufacturer requirements
• Coordinate materials, equipment and project logistics
• Manage change orders and assist with job costing and cost control
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget
• Maintain communication with clients, general contractors and internal teams
• Ensure QA/QC standards are maintained throughout the project
• Manage project documentation, turnover and closeout
