J Reynolds, a Tecta America Company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Waterproof Technician in Saginaw, TX. The role involves waterproofing, restoration, and coating applications on commercial buildings and roofing systems, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include installing waterproofing, caulking, repairs, inspections, and documentation. Candidates should have 1+ year roofing waterproofing experience and the ability to work in a field environment

• Skilled in safe and economical use of the full range of tools, equipment, and materials needed for the job.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of roofing waterproofing experience.
• Knowledge of the construction industry.
• Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
• Extensive standing, walking, and climbing ladders; frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Perform waterproofing applications on commercial buildings.
• Install and repair waterproofing systems using foam injection, sealants, and coatings.
• Caulk joints and seal for building envelopes.
• Complete masonry restoration and building envelope repairs.
• Repair EIFS and apply protective coatings.
• Inspect surfaces and plan proper adhesion of materials.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and PPE per OSHA rules.
• Plan and complete work autonomously from work orders and reports.
• Maintain workmanship, productivity, and customer service.
• Document progress and communicate with supervisors and customers.

We are looking for experienced a Commercial Roofing Waterproof Technician in Saginaw, TX to perform a variety of waterproofing, restoration, and coating applications on commercial buildings and roofing systems.

Job Functions Include:

• Perform above-grade and below-grade waterproofing applications on commercial buildings.
• Install and repair waterproofing systems using foam injection, sealants, and specialized coatings.
• Caulk window perimeters, wet-glaze systems, brick control joints, expansion joints, and tilt-wall joints.
• Complete masonry restoration, tuckpointing, structural concrete repairs, and building envelope repairs.
• Repair and restore EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems).
• Apply waterproofing and protective coatings to walls, facades, and other exterior building surfaces.
• Install acrylic, urethane, and silicone roof coating systems over existing PVC, TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and asphalt roofing systems.
• Perform roof restoration and maintenance work to extend roof life and improve long-term building performance.
• Inspect roofs, walls, and waterproofing systems to identify deficiencies and recommend repair solutions.
• Prepare surfaces and work areas to ensure proper adhesion and high-quality application of waterproofing materials.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, spray equipment, and other job-related equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Plan, organize, and complete work assignments independently from work orders, inspection reports, and verbal instructions.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity, and customer service.
• Complete required documentation and communicate project updates with supervisors and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support waterproofing, restoration, and roofing operations.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Must be able to read drawings, sketches, and diagrams as required
• Able to apply trade knowledge procedures and practices as required
• Must be skilled in the safe and economical use of the full range of tools, equipment, and materials needed for the accomplishment of the assigned work
• High School diploma or equivalent
• One or more years of roofing waterproofing experience
• Knowledge of construction industry
• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
