Velocity Commercial Capital, LLC in Westlake Village, CA is seeking a full-time Commercial Review Appraiser. The role focuses on real estate valuation, appraisal review for USPAP and FIRREA compliance, and maintaining high-quality valuation processes.

You will verify property details, perform cash flow analyses for commercial properties, and collaborate with account executives, processors, underwriters, and third-party appraisers under the Chief Appraiser's guidance.

Qualifications

• Certified General appraiser license with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate and appraisal practice.
• Knowledge of USPAP and FIRREA guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive appraisal reviews for USPAP, FIRREA and policy compliance.
• Confirm property details with data sources and public records.
• Conduct cash flow analyses and income projections for commercial real estate.
• Follow up with vendors to resolve valuation issues and discrepancies.
• Assist the Chief Appraiser and document third-party appraiser qualifications.
• Coordinate with account executives, processors, underwriters and appraisers.
• Maintain and expand the network of approved appraisers nationwide.
• Conduct monthly revaluations on existing impaired loans.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
