Job summary

Banner Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Relationship Manager in Washington to drive growth by building partnerships with large, complex commercial clients. You will lead business development initiatives and provide trusted financial guidance while mentoring teammates.

You will manage relationships across commercial lending, underwrite credits, and monitor risk to ensure regulatory compliance. A bachelor's degree and 6+ years' experience are required, with strong analytics and negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in commercial credit, analysis, or business development required.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to underwrite and structure commercial credits.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue through business development with existing clients and new prospects.
• Build and manage relationships with large, complex commercial clients.
• Market and develop opportunities across commercial and industrial lending and targeted industry segments.
• Negotiate loan terms and structure credit solutions within your authority.
• Prepare and present detailed credit analysis and recommendations for borrowing requests.
• Conduct credit reviews and monitor portfolio risk to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Mentor and coach less experienced relationship managers and support team development.
