Job summary

DHR Mechanical Services, a leading commercial refrigeration installer in the Southeast, seeks a capable Foreman to lead refrigeration installations and on-site supervision across supermarket and commercial projects. You will coordinate crews, read blueprints, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include directing daily activities, mentoring junior installers, and coordinating scheduling to meet timelines while traveling weekly in the Southeast.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration installation experience.
• 2+ years in a Foreman/Lead role such as Foreman, Lead Installer, Superintendent, or Crew Lead.
• Experience installing supermarket rack refrigeration systems, refrigerated display cases, and walk-in coolers/freezers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, refrigeration schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial refrigeration installations, supervising systems including rack, display cases, walk-ins, piping, EMS, and electrical components.
• Perform hands-on installation work alongside field crews as needed.
• Direct daily activities of installers and subcontractors; mentor and develop junior installers.
• Coordinate on-site jobsite operations; be primary point of contact for project managers and general contractors; ensure scheduling aligns with timelines.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; ensure quality workmanship and compliance with codes and project specs.
• Track project progress by maintaining labor, material, and equipment records to support schedule and budget.
