Poppy Bank seeks a VP, Commercial Loan Underwriter to lead underwriting for commercial real estate and business loans. You will apply deep knowledge of credit policy, analyze borrower information, and ensure compliance with banking regulations while working in the Santa Rosa office.

The role requires at least seven years CRE underwriting experience, strong financial analysis skills, and ability to prepare detailed credit memos.

Formación

• Minimum of 7 years of CRE & business loan underwriting experience.
• Strong math and credit analysis capabilities including financial modeling and ratio analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for credit memos.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Familiarity with Baker Hill loan origination system.
• Ability to manage multiple loan transactions and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite commercial loan requests from origination through closing.
• Prepare credit memoranda and detailed analyses for credit authorization.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and collateral.
• Assess business models, industry risks, and management strength.
• Coordinate with lenders and borrowers to discuss issues and covenant recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Maintain regular attendance and work in-office with minimal supervision.
