Job summary

IMA Financial Group, Inc. in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Property Insurance Broker to structure, market, and place commercial property programs for mid-market and large accounts.

You will own the placement lifecycle from submission to binding and delivery while building relationships across US, London, Bermuda, and E&S markets. You will collaborate with senior brokers and analysts, perform market submissions, and negotiate terms with carriers to optimize program structure and pricing.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial property brokerage, wholesale, or property underwriting experience.
• Experience placing large property programs, including shared and layered structures.
• Knowledge of carrier and broker policy forms and manuscript wording.
• Experience with US, London, Bermuda, and E&S markets; exposure to reinsurance.
• Familiarity with RMS and AIR catastrophe modeling and interpreting outputs.

Responsibilities

• Structure and place commercial property programs for various accounts.
• Develop complete market submissions with SOV and exposure narratives.
• Market and negotiate terms with US, London, Bermuda, and E&S markets.
• Analyze policy forms for coverage gaps across layered programs.
• Run catastrophe modeling outputs to inform structure, retentions, pricing.
• Build and present program options, pricing, and quotes.
• Manage binding, policy issuance, and resolve discrepancies to reduce E&O.
• Contribute to renewal strategy and carrier responses.
