Job summary

Transwestern seeks a Property Manager in Oakland, CA to oversee all aspects of a commercial property—from operations and financials to tenant and vendor relationships. You will lead inspections, budget operations, and vendor management while maintaining exceptional tenant service.

Our ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial property management, a real estate license, and strong MS Word/Excel skills, with CPM/RPA designations encouraged. Join a team focused on accountability and outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or related discipline required.
State Real Estate license required.
CPM and/or RPA designations or in progress.

Responsibilities

Represent TW professionally under the management agreement.
Lease administration.
Ensure compliance with Property Management Policies and procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental directives.
Provide leadership to property staff, including hiring and performance management.
Develop comprehensive annual inspection process and schedule inspections.
Develop operating budgets, track variances, oversee CAM reconciliations and ensure timely reporting.
Bid, negotiate and manage vendor contracts per procurement requirements.
Coordinate and oversee tenant and building construction work for client.
Participate in leasing and client team meetings to align goals.
Foster positive relationships with tenants, external and internal clients.
Communicate authority of the property manager as per agreements and TW policies.
Coordinate training and development for team members.
Additional duties or projects as assigned by Senior Leadership and Client/Ownership.
