Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Construction Science/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction PM with a GC.
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to visit active construction sites and travel locally as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout and final turnover.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, schedules, and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work to identify conflicts, cost impacts, and scheduling concerns.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, bid evaluations, scope reviews, contract negotiations, and change order management.
• Monitor project progress to ensure work is on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct project meetings, document progress, communicate expectations, and resolve issues proactively.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and other project documentation.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, cost overruns, and potential construction issues.
• Maintain strong client relationships through communication, transparency, and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with field superintendents to coordinate daily construction activities and site logistics.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site visits and progress reviews to verify workmanship and schedule performance.
