Position: Senior Manager Health Actuary

Location: Remote

Salary: $160,000-190,000 + Bonus

Actuarial Summary: The Senior Manager will lead complex actuarial consulting engagements for top-tier health insurers and regulatory agencies, overseeing multiple workstreams and mentoring team members. This role focuses on pricing, product development, claims analysis, and strategic initiatives within the group commercial health market, including level-funded products. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and direct client engagement, delivering high-quality insights in a dynamic, fast-paced consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Lead pricing strategy, rating development, and assumption setting for level-funded and group commercial health products
• Manage multiple complex workstreams with autonomy and direct client interaction
• Conduct medical and pharmacy claims analysis, benchmarking, and provider contract evaluations
• Support feasibility studies, regulatory implementation, and value-based care/risk arrangement analysis
• ASA or FSA credential with 7+ years of group commercial actuarial experience (consulting preferred)
• Advanced technical skills in Excel, SQL, SAS, R, Python, or VBA with strong communication and leadership abilities
