Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in the Los Angeles area, overseeing them from preconstruction to closeout. You will drive budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in commercial construction, GC experience, and a proven track record managing complex, ground-up projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience working for a General Contractor.
• Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and project costs.
• Lead project meetings with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Coordinate closely with the Superintendent to ensure successful field execution.
• Monitor project financial performance and overall profitability.
• Identify potential project risks and develop solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners.
• Participate in preconstruction and project planning.
• Coordinate project closeout and turnover.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
